This area bridges the Old Town and the Art Nouveau district and is the best base for mid-range travelers who want walkability without the stag-party noise.
Riga's hippest street, Miera iela (Peace Street), runs through the Teika neighborhood and is lined with independent cafes, vinyl record shops, natural wine bars, and the best brunch spots in the city. It's a 20-minute walk or short tram ride from the Old Town.
