The strip along Portal Road and the Botanical Garden area has the best mid-range hotels and restaurants in Entebbe. The Botanical Beach Hotel and Karibu Guesthouse sit right here. The Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting was held at Munyonyo — it's a genuinely beautiful stretch of Lake Victoria shoreline with manicured grounds, private beach access, and spa facilities.
