Where the prices come from
Wildly reads fares from Google Flights. We do not model, estimate or extrapolate the numbers shown in the “Lowest fare in our latest check” section of a route page or in the live-fare lists on origin hubs. If a route has no observation, that section is not shown.
How often
Each tracked route is checked once a day. The check time is stored with the fare and printed next to it (for example “checked Sep 29”). A fare older than 7 days, or for a month that has already passed, is no longer shown as current.
The sample trip
A daily check prices one representative itinerary: a round trip of seven nights in the travel month shown, economy, one adult. We record the lowest fare Google Flights returns for that itinerary, the operating carrier, the number of stops, and the departure and return dates sampled. The dates are shown on the page so you can judge how close the sample is to your own trip.
Price bands
Where a route page labels a fare as typical, good or great, the bands are percentiles of the fares we have observed on that route, not targets we chose. A route with only a few days of history has wide, uncertain bands; the page says how many observations sit behind them. Bands tighten as the daily series grows.
Estimates are labelled
Some hub and filter pages still show figures marked “estimated” or “modelled”. Those are distance-based planning figures, not observations, and they never appear in structured data as offers. We are replacing them with observed data route by route.
Limitations
- One sample per route per day. Fares move within a day and differ by exact dates, cabin and trip length. The observation tells you what a seven-night trip cost at one moment, not the price you will see for yours.
- Lowest displayed fare. The recorded price is the cheapest option Google Flights showed for the sample dates. It may be a basic economy fare with bag or seat restrictions, and it may involve a connection.
- Point of sale. Checks are made from the United States in US dollars. Prices in other markets or currencies can differ.
- Short history. Daily observations began in late September 2026, so long-run patterns are not yet visible on most routes. We publish what we have and the count behind it.
- Not a booking site. Wildly does not sell tickets and has no affiliate stake in the fare shown. Always confirm the price with the airline or agency before you buy.
Use the data
Today's observed fares for every route are published as a table at wildly.ai/fares.md and as JSON at wildly.ai/fares.json, each with the date it was checked. You are welcome to quote them with attribution: name Wildly and link the route page. Site owners can also embed a route's fare.
Corrections
If a number on Wildly looks wrong, write to [email protected] with the page URL. We check the underlying observation and fix or annotate the page. More about who runs the site is on the about page.
