Build a SJU–MLT price target
Enter a round-trip quote you found and the price you would book. Wildly does not invent a live fare here: the worksheet uses only your numbers, then carries the airport pair and target into the alert form.
Dates and trip type are completed on the next screen. Fare reviews remain paused during the provider migration. See free and Pro limits.
From SJU airport to Malta
Reaching Luis Muñoz Marín International
Uber/Lyft from Old San Juan runs $18-28 (20-30 min depending on traffic) and is your best option for reliability. Taxis from official stands at major hotels cost $25-35 but negotiate before entering. The T5 bus route (Autoridad de Transporte Integrado) runs from downtown San Juan to the airport for $2.75 (45-60 min, arrives at Terminal A); it's cheap but unreliable on timing and not recommended if you have a tight connection. Car rental from the airport is $35-55/day at major companies, reasonable if you're staying 4+ days. No train service exists. From Condado area: Uber $15-22 (15-20 min). From Rio Piedras: Uber $12-18 (15-25 min). Pro move: book Uber at least 30 minutes before departure; airport surge pricing is real during peak hours (7-9am, 4-6pm).
Planning San Juan to Malta
Malta is a Mediterranean microstate — medieval fortresses, Knights Templar history, Blue Lagoon boat trips, and a mix of Italian, British, and Arabic influences. Valletta (capital) is stunning, Mdina is a medieval walled city, and the beaches (Gozo, Comino) are worth the ferry. English is widely spoken (former British colony).
