AirTrain + LIRR from Penn Station: $15 total (LIRR $10 + AirTrain $5), 25-30 minutes end-to-end, reliable and cheapest option if you're already in Midtown. M60 bus from 125th St/Broadway ($2.75 MetroCard), 45-50 minutes but stops downtown Manhattan, good for upper West Side travelers. Taxi/Rideshare: $25-45 Uber/Lyft from Midtown (surge pricing 7-9am and 4-7pm can push to $65+), 20-35 minutes depending on traffic. LaGuardia Link bus: skip it—slow and doesn't connect downtown. Drive yourself: $15-17 daily parking in surrounding lots, but forget it during rush hour (I-278 to Grand Central Parkway is a parking lot 7-9am weekdays).
