Build a DTW–MLT price target
Enter a round-trip quote you found and the price you would book. Wildly does not invent a live fare here: the worksheet uses only your numbers, then carries the airport pair and target into the alert form.
Dates and trip type are completed on the next screen. Fare reviews remain paused during the provider migration. See free and Pro limits.
From DTW airport to Malta
Reaching Detroit Metropolitan
Taxi/Uber from downtown Detroit (Corktown/Midtown) runs $28–42 and takes 30–35 minutes depending on traffic; afternoon rush can stretch it to 50 minutes. MoGo bike share + Amtrak doesn't work—no direct rail. Best budget option: SMART bus Route 125 from downtown ($2) takes 45–60 minutes but is genuinely reliable if you have 90 minutes of buffer. Rental car pickup is in the lot adjacent to McNamara ($15–18/day for economy parking). Ride-share pickup is chaotic—use the designated zone near Door 2 of McNamara and expect 10-minute waits.
Planning Detroit to Malta
Malta is a Mediterranean microstate — medieval fortresses, Knights Templar history, Blue Lagoon boat trips, and a mix of Italian, British, and Arabic influences. Valletta (capital) is stunning, Mdina is a medieval walled city, and the beaches (Gozo, Comino) are worth the ferry. English is widely spoken (former British colony).
