Where to Stay
The party strip in Christ Church, lined with bars, cheap restaurants, and guesthouses within walking distance of Rockley Beach. Café Sol does strong margaritas, Champers is the upscale exception for a splurge dinner with cliffside views. Best for under-35 travelers who want nightlife and beach access without paying west coast prices.
The heart of the Platinum Coast — home to Limegrove Lifestyle Centre (luxury shopping), Zaccios and The Tides restaurants, and the best stretch of west coast beach. Cobbler's Cove and Colony Club hotels anchor the top end. Everything here costs 30-40% more than the south coast, but the calm Caribbean water and sunset views justify it.
A solid middle-ground neighborhood between the airport and The Gap — quieter than The Gap but still walkable to Accra Beach, the island's most accessible public beach.
